Flipped learning has helped students and teachers to get more out of their education. Flipped learners are more engaged, and generally learn more, more deeply, more quickly than learners in non-flipped classrooms. Similarly, teachers who experience flipped learning have been heard to say, “I’ll never go back to regular teaching methods.”
Educators interested in learning more about flipped learning would do well to sign up for FlipCon13, the 6th annual get-together of the key flipped learning founders and other educators engaged in flipped learning, or those who are interested in learning more.
The conference is being held June 17-19 in historic Stillwater, MN, and a Virtual Conference is also offered by EduVision with live streaming of all

FlipCon13 offers three days of intensive discussions, multiple sessions, and hands-on workshops. Hundreds of flipped educators from K-12 and higher education will choose between 42 Concurrent Sessions, seven Featured speakers, seven subject-specific Spotlight Sessions for job-alikes, and 14 showcases with flipped-focused companies.

Keynote speakers are Jonathan Bergmann, Aaron Sams and Ramsey Musallam, pioneers in the movement. A lively panel discussion with students, parents, and administrators will also be held. The pre-conference hands-on workshop is to learn how to make videos, and hosted by TechSmith (attendees of the pre-conf and conf) receive license to Snagit and Camtasia software).
